There are many different ways in which one's driver's license can be suspended such as failure to pay fines and costs, by order of the court when convicted of certain offenses including non traffic related matters. The Court can suspend your driver's license for an additional period of time for up to 90 days or a like period of time for which it was previously suspended.
You will want to avoid getting a conviction for driving on a suspended license if at all possiblke as it is considered to be a major violation by both DMV and the Courts if facing subsequent offenses.
Consult with us to see how your driver's license can be reinstated prior to going to Court as the charge will be treated differently than if your license is still suspended. There are numerous defenses to this and other traffic charges that cannot be speeled out in this general; information so please call us now for explanation on how to avoid this conviction.
